When I was 38 years old, I looked many more, I had hypertension, insomnia, little mobility, fatigue,… One day reading the newspaper I read something about the treatment of obesity with Intragastric Balloon and Adjustable Gastric Band. I called Obesity Clinics to find out what might be the best treatment for my case. I was informed of the implications of these treatments, of the importance of attending appointments with all professionals (doctor, dietitian and psychologist) and of the need for involvement on the part of the patient.

Until then, I had followed a multitude of different diets, but after a while I abandoned them, because I couldn’t incorporate them into my habits.
When I started BGA treatment, I began to change: psychological support allowed me to adopt new dietary habits, and weight loss led me to be much more encouraged to leave home, exercise more and show more interest in things.

Now, after two treatments, I have lost 20 kg by looking at the photos of when I started “I almost don’t recognize myself”, plus how practically everything, I maintain my weight and lead a normal life, appearing now yes, my true age.
