Intervention and hospital admission

Preparation for the intervention

  • Entrance in private room, with electric bed, sofa bed for companion, own selection of temperature, safe, digital television, telephone…
  • Nursing care.
  • Respiratory evaluation by the anaesthesiologist.

Surgical intervention

  • Intervention performed by laparoscopy, through minimal incisions, and using methods that prevent postoperative discomfort and pain.

After the operation

  • The patient goes up to his room.
  • The patient gets up to the chair at 2-3 hours.
  • 4 hours after the end of the operation, you can walk, go to the bathroom accompanied…
  • Surgeon’s visit the next morning, to assess analysis, physical examination and tolerance.
  • Medical discharge 24-48 hours after surgery.
