When I was only 29 years old, my excess weight prevented me from doing the physical exercise I wanted. Every day I found it harder to get out of the house and my mood worsened.

A friend put the Intragastric Balloon in Obesity Clinics and the good result encouraged me to go to the consultation.

Now I am different, I find myself with more desire to live, to do other things that I could not do before and something very important, I have managed to learn how to eat and I have known the taste of food.

It’s only been a year and a half since my operation and I’ve lost 32.3kg. If I knew before that the Lap Band treatment existed, I would have had it a long time ago. That’s why I encourage all people who are obese and can, to have surgery. When you lose the extra pounds, you feel more agile, with more desire to live. “You see life differently.”
