Diet from 6 months after the intervention

General feeding recommendations for patients operated on after the first 6 months.

  • Each meal or ingestion should last at least 20 minutes. They are done slowly, with small bites, chewing very well and stopping as soon as the sensation of satiety is reached.
  • Remember to drink out of the meals trying to reach the amount of 4-6 glasses a day in total.

DO NOT FORGET THAT…

  • He is not on a diet, but by his operation he can eat a smaller amount of food and must learn to select foods based on their food quality, proteins, carbohydrates, and other nutrients.
  • Use traditional and simple cooking methods such as grilling, boiling, steaming, etc. Don’t forget the traditional spoon dishes.
  • Exercise daily to promote healthy weight loss
